Cape Coast Youth has become known for embracing the concept of “there’s always a first…”. This time, the “first” will be the first CCY Family Weekend in Hopefield.
The event will be held at the Ronnie Louw Sporting grounds in Hopefield on 15 to 17 December 2017.
So, what’s on the menu for the CCY Family Weekend?
And much more fun for the family – the whole day, every day, from 9 AM till about 5 PM when everything is expected to draw to a close.
The main attraction:
Vilene Kannemeyer is expected to be the biggest draw-card for the event. This singer, currently living in Bredasdorp, was born in Hopefield. Having produced a number of cd’s, she always dreamed of performing in the town of her birth – and Cape Coast Youth helped to make her dream come true.
Sharing the stage with Vilene…
A rapper who isn’t well known as yet – but you will definitely be hearing more about this new rapper sensation: Diego, alias Cast – from Saldanha Bay. This talented young man who writes and composes his own music, is ablaze.
A more complete programme for the event will be published at a later stage.
