Hello, I’m 18 year old Bianca Pholman from Langebaan and I’m in my final Matric year at Weston High School in Vredenburg. I’m a sport fanatic, being part of the Langebaan Stars Gymnastic Club. I take part in athletics, netball, love music and dance. My subjects at School are: Afrikaans, English, Mathematics, Economic Management Science, Arithmetic and Life Sciences.
My vision is to run my own sports company one day and to be a sports coach. I recently joined the group. I already know many of them, followed them on social media and loved what they do. I was inspired a lot by the fact that they are a group of youngsters helping other people.
Hi! My name is Brittany Samuels. I am from Hopefield, am 16 years old and am in grade 11 at Weston Senior Secondary School in Vredenburg. I’m learning a variety of subjects like mathematics, Literacy, History, Life Science, Business Studies and I love English.
My passion is to work with a diversity of people and my dream is to become a administrative manager. My hobbies are watching romantic comedies, cartoons, reality shows and action movies. I also like listening to music and also enjoy playing netball.
My personal mission is to live a life of honesty, integrity and with unconditional love, to never lose sight of what of what is most important, to make the world a more beautiful place through art and my relationships with others. My vision in life is that “Challenge is a pain towards Success”. As a new member of Cape Coast Youth, I want to help the other members make changes in our community. I also want to reach out to everyone to help stop abuse and violence and to be part of making a better future for each and everyone.
Hi! My name is Christian-Joy Steenberg and I’m a 15 year-old Grade 9 learner at Hopefield High School. I’m studying Maths, English, Afrikaans, Technology, Social and Natural science, Life Orientation, Art and Culture. I became part of the organisation that is helping to change the lives of many of today’s youth. We are a group of teens trying to create a better tomorrow and to put some sparkle into our young peoples’ future.
I have been part of the Cape Coast Youth Team for a year and it has been an awesome experience so far. I love working with my fellow members. They are such an inspiration to me. I’m very thankful to be part of Cape Coast Youth and I can’t wait to go on more adventures. Being together, helping others and bringing about a constructive change is a positive experience.

Hi! I’m 19 years of age and finished grade 12 at Hopefield High School in 2014. My subjects were Maths, Literary, English, Afrikaans H L, Tourism, CAT Rit, Geography and Life Orientation. I describe myself as a passionate, positive, hard-working, trustworthy and focused person. My future plans is to study to be a primary school teacher at CPUT, Wellington. I love watching TV series, listening to music, spending time with friends and being active. My favourite food is pizza and pasta.
I find peace in helping others. I believe your future is what you make of it…! I become a Cape Coast Youth member after I being approached by Tarren Sedeman, Miss Cape Coast Youth 2014. It has been an interesting journey so far with all the girls. We like to set an example to other youngsters to become better and have a successful future. I want the organisation to grow and help our community a lot more.

Hi! I’m a 16 year young from Hopefield and a High School Hopefield learner. My subjects are: Biology, Maths, Business Studies and Geography. I’m a friendly giving person, enjoy dance, surfing, horse riding, reading and modelling. My goal in life is to become a Navy candidate and a successful psychiatrist.
To be part of the Cape Coast Youth Team is like having a second family who support each other and love each other. The Cape Coast Youth Team reaches out to the world’s youth and to achieve what we achieve is every young person’s dream.

Hello! I’m Jamie Lee Papier, 19 years old and from Hopefield. I finished school in 2014 at grade 12 at Weston High School in Vredenburg. My subjects were English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Literature L.O, Economics, BST and Accounting.
If I must describe myself, I would say I am very open and eager to try new things. I am kind , loving, passionate about my goals and aspiration. I love eating, listening to music and mostly love modelling shows and my dogs. I like working with children. My future plans are to be successful – and for that I need to work hard and be positive.
In a few years I want to be a teacher and I want to be the best possible person I can be. My time as a Cape Coast Youth team member has been a journey. I am one of the founding team members of Cape Coast Youth, joining on the day it was founded in September 2014. 2014 was an amazing and busy year but well worth it. It wasn’t always an easy path but it is all about making a difference in peoples’ lives. The motto of our team is: “My Life, My Future” and I love it – it’s about me. As a team we said: “If you dream big, welcome to our world”.

Hi! My name is Nahwaal Adams. I’m 17years young, a grade 11 student at Hopefield High School and I have Business Studies, Consumer Studies, Computer and Math Literacy as subjects. My hobbies are singing, dancing and listening to music. I would like to be a beauty therapist one day and travel around the world.
As a Cape Coast Youth girl, I personally think our organisation and team are both good for the community. That’s because we are there to help people who are not as fortunate as others. We are there to help people whatever they need. For me it is a absolute pleasure being part of a such awesome group of young people.
Hello, everybody, I am Shureda Bester, a 16 year-old Grade 9 pupil at Weston Senior Secondary School in Vredenburg. I live with my family in Chemfos, a small Village near Langebaan Road. My subjects in school are: English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Sciences, Life Orientation, Creative Arts, Geography, History and Technology. In my spare time I enjoy reading, love dancing, kick boxing, making friends and I talk a lot! I see myself as a good cop who fights crime and helps make a difference in the community wherever I stay.
My mom and dad decided to call me Suney Williams, when I was born.. Hi, I’m 18 years old from Hopefield and a learner in Weston Senior Secondary School in Vredenburg. My school subjects in school are history, tourism, business studies, mathematics, English, Afrikaans and life orientation. I love reading and talk a lot!
My desire is to study to be a social worker because I care deeply about helping people. Children are very close to my heart, especially when I see how the hardships some of them experience in their young lives.
I joined the Cape Coast Youth organization because I see a positive influence for me in the organization and the objectives to which I aspire. I want to make a difference in my community and, with this youth group, to help make a difference across the entire West Coast.

Hello! I’m 17 years of age and a Grade 11 learner at Hopefield High School. My subjects at school are Maths, Literacy, English, Afrikaans (home language), Business Studies, Consumer Studies, Life Orientation and Computer Application Technology.
My vision is to be the best in every way and as successful as I can be. I want to help people to strive with me. I want to be, and will be, a successful businesswoman.
By starting a business, I hope to help raise a lot of people from poverty. I plan to start small and grow big. My hobbies are dancing, being a cheerleader, riding bikes, reading, listening to music, modelling and working with, or helping, people.
I have been part of the Cape Coast Youth Team for a year. I was elected Miss Cape Coast News in September 2014 and it has been a total joy in my life. I made contact with some of the most wonderful people that has made my journey extra special. Helping people is something I love to do as I am a people person. Cape Coast Youth has given me the opportunity to help people and make a difference in their lives.
The youth of today are the future of tomorrow. We are here to make a difference. I am a take charge person who lives to be an example of good in my community. I want people to realise how important life, school and family are. Drugs and teenage pregnancy are a pressing problem, and through this organisation we can help teens avoid those problems. We have to stand together today, tomorrow and in the future.
